Anyone have any input on whether or not these are good vehicles? I'll be towing a 5'x8' cargo trailer for work. See posting below…
Up for sale is a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Freedom. Has all the standard options, Auto, AC, power windows, power mirrors, keyless entry(needs new remote), cruise control, Factory tinted windows etc as well as the overhead trip console(rare in the Cherokees, has gas mileage functions, outside temp etc), rear receiver hitch, new dual core radiator for upgraded cooling, 8.5 Canyon wheels with new tires. In addition it has the NP242 transfer case(also pretty rare in the Cherokees), and Dual CD/tape deck.
I've had the Jeep since feb of '05, I bought it with 65k miles and it now has about 113k miles. I bought it damaged and I replaced the hood, grill, bumper and left fender, It now has an upgraded dual core radiator as well. This vehicle carries a rebuilt from salvage title which is issued after the vehicle has been repaired and inspected by the Colorado State Patrol for road worthiness. It's been great a Jeep for me thats never let me down and has never given me a lick of trouble. I've had a lot of fun with it and its a very useful vehicle. It's a strong Jeep that has a lot of life left in it, I will be sorry to see it go, but I am moving on to newer and nicer things.
Back at about 75k miles I bought new tires, when I got new tires I also installed new upper and lower balljoints, tie rods end, etc. About 10k miles ago I did a transmission fluid flush and new filter. When the new tires were installed I also installed new front brake pads and had it aligned. After 40k miles the tires showed no bad wear or odd cupping. The vehicle drives strait and doesn't pull. Currently it has 30×9.50 15s on Jeep Wrangler Canyon wheels which are 8 wide compared to the stock 7. The tires currently on the Jeep have about 10k miles on them, and have probably 90% tread on them still.

This is a used car has 16,000 miles on the clock and the seller is asking $9,000 (the car is in an Auto Repair shop). The seller will definitely negotiate.
The only problem with this car is it is a SALVAGED car and there is problems with the bumber and lights are broken. However the car is all fixed and there appears to be nothing wrong with the car at the moment.
Is this a good deal???
I am going to look at the car tomorrow. Any advise on what to ask? THANKS A LOT. Full points for best answer thanks : )

Hello,
Sorry for this late reply but I was unable to check my e-mail until now also I have been overwhelmed by the number of emails I got from interested buyers after listing the car on Autotrader, Yahoo! Autos and Autoextra. The car is in good running condition and comes with a clear title, NOT salvage. It's a non smoker car with zero mechanical / electrical problems, no damages or accidents.
There is a reason for selling it for such a low price but it's just something personal that has nothing to do with the car's condition and I'm not willing to discuss it so please don't ask.
The only problem is that I'm currently stationed in Camp Bucca, Southern Iraq and I can't close the deal in person. I know you can't buy a car just by looking at pictures but that's why I've decided to use Yahoo Auto services. I had nobody back home that could help me with the sale so I've left the car at the Yahoo Autos Depot.
For a small fee (which I'm going to pay in case that you are serious about the

The motor runs rough and I replaced the spark plugs, boots, ignition module, fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, crank sensor and still runs rough. The check engine light comes on and the code is code 26 which is a Quad driver circuit? What is the quad driver circuit and what is it, auto parts store cant get me one either. when I first start it you can smell strong gas fumes and the engine shakes.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance Troy B.
